Yes, 100% of Elissa's work is done remotely! Over the years, Elissa has developed the skill of being able to do distant treatments for her patients who, for whatever reason, cannot make it to her office. Because the majority of what Elissa does is based on energy medicine, she has the ability to connect energetically with her patients no matter where they are, and perform the exact same treatment as if they were sitting next to her. Elissa has found that distance treatments are actually more powerful than in person treatments because she is able to concentrate so much more clearly.

What can I expect during a first appointment with Elissa?
Your first appointment with Elissa will last about 1½ hours. Please provide your new patient forms already filled out and any supplements, medicines, beauty products, etc. that you would like to have tested. After reading through this website, it is always a great idea to write down any questions or concerns you have for Elissa so that you can be sure to get the answers you need.
For the first 45 minutes, Elissa will review your medical history, discuss with you the symptoms you are experiencing and get a clear understanding of your health goals. Elissa will discuss with you what she thinks is the best healing approach to meet your needs. Most of the time, the remaining 45 minutes of your first appointment is spent performing BioSET evaluations to get a better sense of what is causing your symptoms and confirming what she thinks is the best treatment approach (BioSET, Enzyme Therapy, Body Code, Emotion Code). Commonly, Elissa will test you using the IQS for any food and environmental stressors, perform a toxicity evaluation and any other evaluations that seem appropriate. Elissa will then complete your first visit by performing an energetic balancing session for some of the stressors she found for you (food, environmental, autoimmune, emotional etc.). Elissa will always reserve a bit of time at the end to further answer any questions or concerns that may have come up for you during your session.
What happens during follow up sessions?
Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes long and during that time Elissa will review how you are feeling, making note of the improvements you have experienced. She will review what was done during the previous session, and make any necessary changes in her treatment approach before beginning your session.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
Depending on your health goals, how your body responds to energy medicine and the modality used to help you obtain those goals, the number of treatments will vary greatly. It is very important to Elissa that you notice improvements in your symptoms after every session. By the time many patients find Elissa, they have been suffering a long time and being free of your symptoms as soon as possible is a common goal Elissa will have with you!
Does Elissa treat children?
Yes! Infants and children of all ages are able to benefit from Elissa's sessions! Her treatments are most effective for the conditions that most trouble infants and children. Colic, spitting up, gas, diarrhea, constipation, eczema, skin irritations, acne, fatigue, stomach aches, headaches, reactions to insect bites, eczema, behavioral issues and poor concentration are some the most common symptoms that Elissa sees with her young patients.
Do Elissa's treatments also benefit pets?
Absolutely! Many animals suffer from digestive issues, auto immune issues, food sensitivities and emotional issues. Symptoms such as chronic ear infections, skin conditions, lethargy, digestive disorders and anxiety are very common in cats and dogs. Elissa has successfully worked with animals and frequently works her own 5 cats and 2 dogs!
